AVONDALE EARLY LEARNING CENTER OPEN ENROLLMENT SUMMER CAMP AND 2024-25 SCHOOL YEAR

Avondale Early Learning offers an opportunity for your student to begin their school journey in a warm and nurturing environment that encourages development of the whole child - physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually. Full and half-day academic-based programs available. You do not have to be a district resident to enroll. Additional information about the program and pricing can be found HERE.

AVONDALE CHOIRS ARE STATE BOUND!

At the MSVMA District 16 Festival, 5 choirs from Avondale High School and 1 choir from Avondale Middle School performed with EXCELLENCE! All 6 choirs received 1st Division ratings and earned spots at the State Festival - Women’s Chorus, Mixed Chorus, Concert Choir, Men of Avondale, Women of Concert Choir, and the 7th & 8th Grade Choir. CONGRATULATIONS to all our performers and many thanks to Avondale Vocal Music Director, Mr. Kevin Cornwell! (See how each group scored HERE.)

CHAMBER OF COMMERCE HONORS EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION

In March, the Auburn Hills Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual Excellence in Education Banquet in honor of Avondale School District students who have demonstrated excellence in academics, leadership and service. As part of the celebration, students select an educator who has impacted their life and supported their growth to share in this honor. AVONDALE MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS SELECTED FOR HONORS BAND

CONGRATULATIONS to Avondale Middle School students selected to the Michigan Schools Band and Orchestra District 16 Honors Band - Carter Smith, Hadassah Pop, Marcus Martinez, Christopher Lombard, and Gabriela Adams! They be performing with students from more than 40 schools on April 16th @ Lakeview High Schoool in Saint Clair Shores!

We want our students to thrive in their educational journey and beyond. As such, we believe in the widely acknowledged Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) educational program. We've also taken the initiative to adopt Project Based Learning and Design Thinking approaches to education to bring a more authentic and collaborative experience to your student’s curriculum.
