Golden Paw

golden paw

At Woodland Elementary, we are proud to present our Golden Paw Initiative, a positive behavior program designed to encourage and celebrate students who consistently demonstrate our R.O.A.R.S. characteristics: Respect, Organized, Attentive, Responsible, and Safe. Each time a student exemplifies one of these traits, they are awarded a Golden Paw, which they can then proudly place in our Golden Paw box.

Mrs. Rosinski regularly picks slips from the box during Morning Announcements, and the selected students are invited to the office to choose a special prize. These Golden Paws are then showcased on our Golden Paw bulletin board in the hallway, allowing everyone to see the fantastic efforts of our Wildcats. Additionally, students who earn Golden Paws are highlighted in our weekly newsletter, which is sent out to all families, ensuring that the entire school community can celebrate their achievements.

This initiative not only rewards positive behavior but also creates a school culture where the values of R.O.A.R.S. are recognized, celebrated, and continuously reinforced.
